- Swim A Long is June 19th, our annual fundraiser, where swimmers & their families raise money by swimming laps! This year our fundraiser will benefit Heaven’s 27, in memory of the twenty-seven Camp Mystic campers and counselors who tragically lost their lives in last summer’s flooding. Heaven’s
27 honors their legacy by supporting scholarships, community initiatives, and causes close to each family’s heart. Please read more about this incredible organization at https://www.heavens27.org Our fundraising goal is $2700!
Swimmers will swim for ONE hour. Please RSVP here for one of the following shifts: 7:30-9:00am* OR 9:00-10:30**
*Swimmers will arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 and swim from 8:00-9:00
**Swimmers will arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 and swim from 9:30-10:30
June Mornings
- CIT: Not attending
- 6 & Under: 8:30–9:00 AM
- 7 & 8: 7:30–8:30 AM
- 9 & 10: 9:00–10:00 AM
- 11 & Up: 10:00–11:00 AM
If you cannot make practice due to camps/schedule conflicts, please attend the 7:30-8:30am practice.

FEES
Ages 4 - 14: $175 | siblings $115 (fee maximum of $400 for multi-swimmer families)
Ages 15 - 18: $85
Registration fees include team and league insurances, team expenses, equipment maintenance, team t-shirt, team swim cap, ribbons, medals, trophies, team events, and coaching.
ELIGIBILITY
Swimmers must be able to enter the water independently without their parents AND without the use of flotation devices. All swimmers must be able to listen to and take instruction from the coaching staff and will be asked to exit the pool if unable to do so.
To be eligible for participation in the meets, swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) freestyle within 75 seconds or less by the time of the first meet.
Practices start the first week of May and are held 6 days a week through to the end of June. Morning practices begin in June on June 5th, to accommodate HISD's last day of school being June 4th, 2026.
No practices on Sundays, holidays, or meet days.
We practice at the South Briar Community Pool, located at 1708 Crystal Hills Drive.
- ALL swimmers must be registered & paid to enter the water.
- Practices are age-group specific, and determined by swimmer's age as of May 31.
- Swimmers MUST practice at their assigned time with their age group.
- Practices are held rain or shine, but may be delayed or cancelled in inclement weather.
Swimmers are expected to arrive on time for their practice, dressed to swim, and with a pair of well-fitting goggles.
Volunteering
With the exception of paid coaches, the swim team is 100% managed by volunteers. This means we depend on every family to pitch in and help us ensure the meets can take place.
There are a number of volunteer opportunities open for a variety of different skills, strengths, and availability. Talk to us about your next volunteer role!
Inclement Weather
If it is necessary to delay or cancel practice due to severe or inclement weather, we will send a notification via Remind.
